Barracuda Lake has a surreal atmosphere.

Before reaching the stunning and vast Barracuda Lake, the entry to the lake takes a long road that winds through rocky, movie-like rocks. Despite the lake's size, swimmers appreciate the deep waters' enclosed paradise for free diving. As you snorkel and free dive in this freshwater lake on Coron Island, underwater cliffs will astound you. The lake was named after a giant barracuda fish skeleton that was found in its depths; it is one of the most well-known diving locations in the entire country, not just in Coron.

As it contains freshwater and saltwater, you can experience the halocline and thermocline, or layers of cold, warm, and hot water, which is considered the lake's most renowned characteristic, particularly for divers. It's located on the island of Coron. Tourists can visit Barracuda Lake and other Lagoons, snorkeling areas, and shipwrecks while staying in Coron Town by boat.

It is also a component of island hopping, which allows solitary or budget travelers to book tour packages and take day trips to numerous different places. Remember to abide by the rules, but more importantly, remember to take in the beauty of the lake, where you may see various fish species living in tiny crevices in the limestone rock walls and feel how the water temperature changes as you descend deeper.
